Jake stepped backwards, avoiding both blades before lashing out with his spiked gauntlet, his strike aimed at Demetrius' gut. The spikes on his gauntlet were curved, they couldn't be removed without tearing out flesh in the process, Jake almost wished they weren't made that way. Weapons like his gauntlets weren't meant to be used in casual spars, too bad the man who gave him his gauntlets didn't think of that, Jake might have to get a second, safer pair of gauntlets.

Demetrius spun his blade, right hand side,using the flat of it to knock. Blow aside, then slashed at Jakes outstretched arm in return. The adrenaline in the boys system made him think and move faster.

Jake smiled, it seemed that the Artist was getting better at close range combat. Or maybe he was holding back a little too much, the swords weren't even damaged after all and Jake could dent steel with his bare hands rather easily albeit it'd hurt a little without his gauntlets to protect his skin. Jake quickly retracted his arm with supernatural speed, avoiding the Artist's slash, he then spun around and kicked at Demetrius' chest with enough strength to send him flying.

Demetrius locked the muscles in his legs as he grabbed Jakes leg. The blow almost made him wince, but he slowly lifted his opponent in the air. Then turned to slam him into the ground.

Jake's eyes widened slightly in shock as Demetrius caught his kick instead of trying to avoid it, his expression turned blank, inwardly concealing a smirk as his friend slowly lifted him into the air. Jake shrugged off his jacket, letting it fall behind him as his wings burst out from his back, flapping with the strength of a dragon. Jake soared into the sky, Demetrius being pulled along with him.

Demetrius closed his eyes and let himself unlock his second level, the transition the same as always, change of eye color and increases in strength and adrenaline. He let himself drop off of Jake's body teleporting to the ground. "I should have made flying against the rules of this match"

Jake smirked as he looked down on Demetrius. "Now that wouldn't be fair, I'd have one of my powers limited and you would be going past your limit. Well going past your limit is the goal of us doing this anyway." The Half-dragon spoke, sending a wall of fire as he had just a few moments ago.

"Yes but what's one power unused against a mere mortal Artist?" He said as he jumped ver the fire wall, and dismissing his sword in exchange for his crossbow. He shot off a few ice bolts at Jake to start off.

Jake laughed, this was going to get fun. Jake flapped his wings hard, creating a powerful gust of wind that knocked the bolts off course, they flew past him in random directions. Jake sent a few fireballs back at Demetrius in retaliation. "Well I'm still mortal, I can sure die if someone pierces my heart or brain. I don't know if I live longer though."

Demetrius dodged the flames, and fired off a couple more bolts at jakes wings. "Depends on if I have any breakdowns, at this rate, we'll have to see" he said.

Jake descended rapidly, dodging the bolts. Upon landing, Jake dashed toward the Artist with supernatural levels of speed, forever unattainable by normal humans.

Once jake hit the ground he was a rapid blur coming up towards the Artists face, if they collided, the momentum probably would be enough to hurt like hell, if he had gotten around him before then, it's possible he could get a shot on his back. Demetrius teleported behind Jake quickly just before he was within arms length, and shot off six ice bolts, one for each direction.

Jake's eyes widened slightly as Demetrius teleported away, his sharp ears quickly caught the sound of several bolts being fired at a quick pace. Jake reacted instantly, simultaneously releasing his seal and dropping to the ground. It worked, the bolts, six now that Jake counted them, landed several feet in front of his head and were now impaled in the dirt, Jake noted that they were the ice variants. Pushing himself off the ground, Jake quickly flew upwards into the sky.

Demetrius flicked his crossbow, the attributes of the bolts changing into electric class, though these were toned down to a nasty shock. He fired a couple at Jakes wings and torso. The Artist was still only on level 2 of his seal, jake had to push him harder.

Releasing the seal gave all of Jake's abilities a boost, that included his senses. Therefore, Jake was easily able to hear the next few shots and where they originated from. In a burst of speed, Jake flew up to cloud height, blocked from Demetrius' sight. With Jake's improved already superhuman eyesight, he could still see the Artist on the ground, Jake circled around, charging his flames as he did so. Once Jake was at the Artist's right, he dived down at immense speeds, gravity pulling down at him to make him even faster. Jake planned to let the momentum power his next attack, a spinning kick. He wouldn't use his dragon strength, it was still within human levels, but with the momentum he had it would hurt. A lot. Whilst he was doing all this, he continued to charge and store flame energy within his gauntlets.

Demetrius watched Jake come down like a speeding bullet, then dropped his sights on his piece of paper, one that was laying between them. The artist counts the seconds until Jake was within range of this trick. Which was about as close as 10 feet from the kicks distance. He gripped the rough edge and hefted out a heavy wall of pure diamond, it was the size of two pickup trucks stacked on top of each other and about as wide. This could absorb most of power in it, he'll if it broke on contact, it was drop some of his momentum. It was simple physics.

Jake's eyes widened at the pile of diamond, he managed to angle his body downwards, extended his claws and place them in front of his body, reminiscent of a man diving into a pool and started to spin. It worked, barely. Jake tore through the dirt with hardly a feet between his face and the wall of diamond. Stopping his spin now that he was directly underneath Demetrius and the wall. Jake placed his gauntlet encased hands on the dirt above him, focusing the stored flames in his gauntlet and adding more. He launched a focused beam of blue flames the size of his body, wings included, through the dirt and towards Demetrius.

The ground heated up under the boys feet, he knew what Jake was getting at right at that second and had to teleport away from it. He reappeared a few feet away and dismissed his cross bow for his earth gauntlets. He rested his palms on the ground and started pulling in energy, and building up a tower of power. The Artist had to open up to level 3 for his next trick, so he let himself push though that barrier as well. A high force of pure energy rushed through him, making his body shake a bit until it moderated itself. Demetrius took and deep breath and pushed on the dirt under his hands, sending out a pulse of stone to drive out Jake.

There wasn't any smell of burning clothes so Jake knew he missed, he waited patiently in the hole he had created from both his dive and beam of flames. The beam had cost him a little more energy than he expected, it was the first time he had actually done something on that scale so Jake was a little winded. Still, he had a lot of energy left in his body, just not his flames. The flames would take a couple of minutes to recharge itself. He heard the sound of dirt moving and quickly jumped up, avoiding the stone that now filled his previous position. Jake bounced off the dirt surrounding him, quickly making his way to the surface before Demetrius continued his assault. He noted that the Artist was now armed with his earth gauntlets.

Demetrius locked his knees for a moment and with a burst of speed, ran at Jake. His gauntlets were smooth like boxing glares all around but being metal it would still suck to be hit by them. He shifted up and faked a swing at Jakes face,then suddenly dropped to the ground, whipped out his legs to drop kick him.

Jake narrowed his eyes at the move. After being taught by Mr A for a couple of months before he disappeared, Jake learned how to read his opponent's moves, or at least predict them somewhat accurately. Jake turned his body to the side, balancing on one bent leg, when the Artist dropped to the ground as he had predicted, Jake used his single bent leg to push him into the air. Bringing his other leg around, Jake brought it down, aiming to smash his heel into Demetrius' back with the strength of a body builder.

Demetrius had hit the ground hard but rose in push up position, despite the pain and the fact Jake was still above him. He rolled away and stood up, running at his opponent again, not taking much time to think. He swung at jakes torso.

Jake admired the fact that Demetrius hadn't given up, then again, he could already be in his 'berserker mode' or he just didn't know the meaning of giving up. Still, the attack was simple and easy to counter. Jake stepped toward the attack, his body swaying to the side a few inches before contact with the fist, his own hand shot towards the Artist's torso at high speeds, his gauntlet rapidly reverting to it's glove state to avoid hurting Demetrius too badly. Still, the punch had enough power packed in it to send the Artist flying backwards if it connected.
