The boy was leaving her alone. The other one was coming to attack. She stared at him. Her mouth opened and she spoke. Well, not spoke. More like screeched. She couldnt speak human words in this form when she was angry. She spread her claws out and yelled out. Her wing whipped out towards the boy that was walking towards her. She was aiming to splatter his eyes with her acidic, black blood. It would burn in more sensitive areas. Her parted lips shone her pointed white fangs. She was terrified. She would not die.

Kain brought up his arm to cover his eyes from the debris flung in his direction when Kasi flapped her wing. That was a smart move considering the acidic liquid that began to burn the skin on his arm lightly. He furrowed his brow at the sensation and continued spinning the chain to gather force, "It would be much easier to just stop trying and let me have what I want, Devil Girl. Then again, that would make cutting you up way less satisfying!" Kain's glowing amber eyes flashed with a sinister spark when he flung the weight at the girl, prepared to crack her forehead wide open.

Meanwhile, Abel seemed to notice just how painful his brother's necrotoxin was becoming. H2O wanted to talk, but as it stood he was in no position for negotiating. After all, Abel was the only thing that could stop the toxin from eating his windpipe out. Mark probably wouldn't be able to see, but there were tears streaming down Abel's stoic face. He didn't want to fight... But if he didn't then both he and Kain would be killed, "I don't want to watch you die." He said quietly, cutting his hand open with the knife he held. He allowed it to pool in his hand a bit before holding the antidote out to him, "Drink. The antidote reverses the effects of Kain's necrotoxin. But don't even consider trying to run from me or I'll be unable to convince my brother to cure you of the neurotoxin." Abel's own eyes ceased to glow as his skin returned to normal, showing that his skin was now harmless.

Mark was stunned, he knew Abel was different than Kain but this went to a whole new level, but it wasn't what Mark wanted to do. Having no choice Mark drank the antidote that Abel gave to him. "I know that I'm in a bad position to negotiate and all..." He could hear the girl scream, she transformed? This was something that he never did encounter, he better stopped because it could get ugly between her and Kain. "I will come peacefully with you.." He added, his eyes still glowing, through his eyes Abel could read if he was or wasn't lying, so far Mark was being honest.. "Under the condition that Kain and you Abel do not harm the girl and let her go.." The girl he cared about died because of him, he didn't want to let another girl die because of him. "But also.. I can set you both free.." He added, feeling that the antidote was kicking in, the pain wasn't that bad anymore, but he was still worried if Abel would consider his offer, true Abel didn't want any more blood spilled, but maybe his bond was stronger than his own free will..

A weapon was flung at her. It was flying fast. The way the boy was spinning it... it must be heavy. She didn't want to be hit by it. She dashed to the side, avoiding it barely. Wait... her wing. The weight hit the inner side of her wing. It tore through the skin. Her two lower eyes shut tight. She cringed in pain. The chain was going through her. If she tried to run it would tear the flesh even more. She fell to her knees. The claws on her right hand were pressed against the ground. She was terrified. Wait... something was going on. She looked over to the other boy and the boy that was escorting her back to school. They were talking. Maybe it was okay... maybe...

Kain laughed once again when the weight tore right through the membrane of her wing. It was pretty far in, and the only way for it to come out without being ripped through was for him to pull it out gently. And there was only one way that would happen. The first twin tugged on the chain a couple of times to let her know what he wanted her to come to him, "Come here, meat..." He said, his long serpentine tongue slipping from his mouth once again. Kain held a tight grip on the sickle handle, prepared to bury it deep inside of her if she tried to attack him, "Or would you like that hole to get even bigger?" He could see that she was just terrified of him, and Kain was just loving it.

Abel simply shook his head after curing Mark of Kain's venom. He couldn't just let the girl go after she was given more than one warning. She included herself in Gemini's business and she needed to pay the consequences. There were certain things that Abel didn't get in the way of, "I can't promise you anything. What happens to the girl is up to Kain. It's out of my hands." He shifted his eyes to Mark's neck that had began to show signs of improvement, "You don't have too much time before my own toxin robs you of your movement... Right now Kain's in control. And he doesn't plan on giving it up." When Abel finished speaking, the alarm on his watch began to go off. They didn't have too much time left, "Kain! Hurry up. We have places to be after this."

Mark then frowned, listening to what was happening between the girl and Kain. "You have to stop him, if not I will." He said, it wasn't a bluff, he was dead serious, even if the poison would kick in he would at least give the girl a chance to run. This wasn't her fight and Mark would be an idiot if he let someone else die because of him again. "I don't want to hurt you Abel, but your brother has crossed the line this time.." He added while he was in a calm state, that could change instantly as he knew vibrations from Kain's and the girls body, he couldn't know what they were up to since he couldn't see but he could guess that Kain was able to hurt the girl, and that's what Mark was waiting for, if he hit her or hurt her again it would be something that Kain would regret.

She was being reeled in. She felt helpless. Wait a second... it was in her wing. She took a deep breath. Her body changed back to the cute little, blonde girl she was previously. Her claws went back to hands. Her wing faded away. There was a large cut on her back. She guessed that's how her wounds transferred over. She made tight fists. It hurt. Her scythe fell to the ground, the spike now non-existent. She ran to her weapon and lifted it up. It was a bit heavier than she was used to. She had no idea where to go. She ran to the boy. The not dangerous one. She hid behind him. She hoped it would be alright.

That was a big mistake... Kasi took her place behind Mark, Kain threw his chain around counterclockwise to bind them together. At the same time, Abel used Benumb's wire to also coil around the both of them. The twins pulled their respective weapons as tightly as possible to root the both of them into place. The girl had good intentions, but they only got her in even deeper, "You should have run when you had the chance." Abel said, a hint of sadness in his voice, "And now you're little act got you in over your head." Abel kept a tight grip on his own weapon while Kain made his way over to the two, his tongue slithering back into his mouth, "This is what happens when you meddle. And now the both of you get to die." Abel did his best to get the attention of the other two without gathering Kain's attention. He leaned in a bit and whispered, "I won't let him kill you."

Mark couldn't move, this was bad, he could feel the girl was right behind him. He tried to break the chain that kept him tied to the girl but it was no use. The glow from his eyes emited an aura that they all could feel, it was a warm sensation showing off Mark's inner self. "Kain.." He spoke moving his look towards Kain even tho he couldn't see him he continued too look at him, he didn't feel any emotion right now. "Kill me... Leave the girl out of this.. I will pay the price for her actions." He said his voice was dead serious, he did hear Abel's words but Kain couldn't be controlled at some points. The white aura that was emiting from his eyes was spreading around Mark's entire body, this was the first time that this aura was appearing but he knew what it ment... His eyesight was forever lost, but he needed water to survive.. If he didn't drink water with the interval of 9 hours his heart would stop.

She was tied to the boy now. This was a mistake. The boy wanted to die in place of her. She shook her head. It didn't make sense. This boy was clearly worth so much more than her. He was so nice. He was keeping her safe. She just made everything so much harder. She had nothing going for her. Well... just a little She guessed it would be bad to die. It would be a little sad... She took a couple deep breaths. She couldn't do this. She couldn't do anything. How was she supposed to get out? She wanted to cry...

Kain seemed a little impressed with Mark's little heroic sacrifice that he wanted to pull, "Hmmmm...." He tapped his chin in mock thought and reached a verdict, "No." The twisted twin raised his sickle to Kasi's exposed throat when suddenly Abel's alarm went off again, signaling that they had run out of time. Kain's smiled faded a little as he pulled his weapon back. His eyes returned to normal and the fangs ceased to drip venom. At the same time, Abel took a step back away from the three and looked to his brother, "We're done here. Like I said, we have places to be. You wasted too much time, Kain."

Kain clicked his tongue in annoyance and he held his palm up the the blade of his sickle, cutting in deep. The pain made his wince a little, but there was a stable blood flow, "Here..." He raised the bloody pool to Kasi's mouth, "You may not have noticed, but Abel managed to poison you both earlier. Just drink it so you don't die here." He held out his other hand to Abel who cut the palm for him so he could offer it to Mark, "Well? What are you waiting for?"

Mark was thankful to Abel, mostly to the alarm going of. He drank a bit of blood, leaving more for the girl. His eyes still glowing he couldn't see a thing. The alarm that went of was a bit strong for his hearing but yeah.. For now it was good... But it almost cost the girls life. It was all because of Mark, it always was.. He than recalled Kain's words a bit earlier. "Another person that I care about almost died because of me.." He though as he closed his eyes, the white aura still around Mark, it was emitting heat slightly, not too much but it was enough for the air around him to heat a little. He though about the girl and her injuries.. It will haunt him for the rest of his life...

A bloody hand was raised to her mouth. She was told to drink it. She guessed... she didn't know. She put her lips to the hand and sipped. It was bitter and awful. As soon as she drank she started to feel sick. Her hands tightened. She didn't like this. There was still blood dripping from her back. It was a pretty large tear. She needed some medical help soon. She hoped the boy would be okay. She hoped they were going to be okay. It looked like the two were leaving. They should be fine... for now.

Kain and Abel both reached into their pockets to retrieve a hypodermic needle. If they couldn't just take the both of them, they weren't going to leave without something to work with. Kain took his blood sample from Kasi while Abel his own from Mark, "We aren't going to leave empty handed." Once finished with their collecting, they released their weapons with another flash and re-attached them to their belts, "Breathe a word about what happened here and I'll be back for the both of you. Next time the alarm won't keep me from splitting your necks open." Kain smiled and turned away, beckoning for Abel to follow, "Let's go, brother..." Abel nodded and walked next to Kain "Do you remember where we're going?"

"Of course I do!" He turned back around to wave goodbye to his latest companions, "See you both at school..." With that his eyes flashed once again and a sinister laugh rang through the ruins. His year at Dark's was going to be very, very interesting.

As soon as he couldn't hear Abel and Kain he slowly stood up, feeling strange.. This was the new level to his ability that he never did reach. He could hear the girls movement, he then felt sadness, this was all his fault. "I'm very sorry that you had to go through this..." His eyes still glowing he decided to move his look away, he was truly a monster. He unlocked the 2nd level of his ability, which he didn't know how to turn off. "I will take you to the school and you don't have to speak to me ever again.." He added as he moved his look back at the girl. The aura around him then fadded as it did the final transformation, from now on he will never be the same..

She was stuck with a needle. She cringed a bit. They were going to test it? Huh... they might be in for an interesting surprise. The boy seemed so sad. She smiled a little, trying to cheer him up. Both his eyes were white. She guessed he couldn't see. She went to him and held his hand. She lifted her scythe onto her back. She decided to speak in a happy tone. "I might forgive you. If you promise to stay with me til we get to school." She spoke in a playful tone. She didn't want the boy to still feel sad. She was fine with what just happened. It felt... familiar.

Mark's face expression didn't change as his emotions were demolished, he could only feel emptiness, he was broken, he didn't care about his wounds and the blood that continued to go down his body. Using his free hand he torn up a small piece of it, he then wrapped it over his eyes moving his hand from the girls, there was no point in using them anymore, the cloth of the bandage was covered in blood but he didn't care. "I do not deserve forgiveness.." He said as he continued to walk to the university, passing by the girl. "Come on.. The faster I take you to the school.." He really did care about the girls well being, she was now a target to the Gemini Brothers. This ment that he will look after her.. But right now, he felt like his heart was torn in several pieces..

He covered his eyes. He walked away from her. He seemed sad. She sighed a little. She caught up to him and walked beside him. He seemed completely different. She frowned a little. She wanted him to feel better. She thought about a hug, but wasn't sure if it would help by now. Maybe he just. Erred a little time. Her smile fell and she stared at the ground.

Mark was glad that she didn't die because of him but at the same time it was his fault she faced them anyway. The Gemini brothers were in darks and they have a motive for that, for now, it seems they wanted to capture Mark but they also took his and the girl's blood for testing. Guess there was another plan that they were hidding.. "You should be more careful, when the brothers are done with me they will look after you." He said, his face expression did not change slightly, still his face was hidding so much pain and agony. The only person Mark has ever loved died because of him.. Instead of tears, he was crying blood, the blood went through the bandages on his eyes and went down his left cheek. The girl could see it all to clear, yes he wasn't the person she met an hour ago, that person was now locked deep inside his broken heart, until he overcomes what has happened the old Mark will come back..

The boy sounded somber still. Something happened. She looked to him. There was blood dripping down his cheek. From his eyes... "You're bleeding. We should get back to school quickly." She took his hand. She hoped he would accept it this time. She started to feel scared again. She wasn't sure what the boy might do to her like this. She chewed on her lip.

This time Mark didn't move his hand, letting the girl hold his. He could feel that she was a bit scared of him, who wouldn't be? He moved his look slightly towards the girl, he still saw only darkness in front of his eyes. "I will be fine.. I'm worried about your wounds.." Mark said and added with concern. He wasn't a blind man, he knew that she was injured. But he always did care for others first, his well being was always second priority. As she looked at him as he turned his head, she could see that it wasn't the same Mark, he was more.. Cold..

Right... She was a little wounded. Just a cut on her back. It didn't hurt too much. The cold air soothed it. She was a little sad she tore this shirt with that wing. She would just have to get a new one, she guessed. The boy was kind, but still seemed empty. She didnt want to say anything. She didn't like what the boy had become. She wanted him to go back to normal.

Mark was still walking calmly, but then he had an idea, it all depended if the girl would want him to do that. "You know, I can get us to the school in a flash.. The sooner we get to the infirmary the better.." He added but was well aware of the risks, this would surely cost him a lot of energy and may even make him lose his balance and walking capabilities for about a day or two.. But he didn't complain, at this point it would be best if they reached the university in about seconds, there the schools doctor can tend to their injuries. But there was another problem, Mark was blind.. Yet he could picture the road in his head, he was afraid of messing with a turn or something..

The boy wanted to get her home quickly. She guessed she'd be fine with that. She held his hand tight. She nodded. Wait... the boy couldn't see. "Sure." She was a little embarrassed that she forgot. The boy seemed so serious. She didn't like it. She wanted him to cheer up. She wasn't sure what to do. She guessed she couldn't. Maybe... she could bring up what those boys were saying earlier. The things that made the boy get scary. "Uhh... if it isn't too much... who was the person that that boy was talking about earlier." It was probably really personal, considering this reaction. And, the person was killed, if she picked it up correctly.

Mark could hear her answer and then her question, with that his emotionless face stayed the same, he slightly moved his head towards the girl as the question brought back some memories of the past.. But he soon shacked those feelings away, it wasn't a good time to cry about what has happened, it was done.. "Her name was Sarah... And she was the love of my life.." He added his tone slightly saddened but still not to much for him to show any emotions. Deep inside he has a switch for his emotions, when he is alone he will cry his heart out, but not now.. He then moved his head slightly back at it's original position, he could feel the girls hand, it did calm him a bit..
