He kept calling her that word. He didn't seem to get the idea out of his head. She shut her eyes. She didn't want to imagine it. She wasn't a god. She was a demon. She was awful She was evil. She... she... She could feel herself blacking out. It was so hard to breath. She fell onto her knees. He was still speaking. It faded away. She was going away. She didn't like this. She didn't like what happened next. It was always the same thing. It was always so dangerous.

The schoolgirl named Kasi appeared to just collapse. Genma was confused. What was he supposed to do now? He never had to deal with a situation like this before. She must’ve blacked out. Genma strolled toward her, and kneeled down, shaking her. “Hello? Kasi? Wake up.” He continued shaking her. What a peculiar girl. Was this how all Shinigami acted? He doubted it. “WAKE UP!” He yelled right over her. Was she going to wake up? Or was she in some sort of abysmal sleep? He still didn’t know if she desired to be friends.

One of her eyes opened. It glowed red. Her lips raised to a grin. Her teeth were pointed. Everything else was normal. Somebody was shouting for her to get up. She rolled over a bit to look at who it was. Oh, him. She'd seen him. She pushed herself to her feet. "Don't worry, I'm perfectly fine. Just needed to take a breath." Her voice was more confident, more... seductive. "Now, what did you say earlier, dear? You wanted a fight?" Her glowing eyes pierced through him. This would be absolutely lovely. One of her hands reached up and grabbed the butt of the weapon on her back. She was ready.

Once she awoke from her short-lived sleep, there was something visibly, ominously different in her. So, the Shinigami within exposed itself for real this time. “I must say, it’s remarkable how you are able to keep your Human-appearance while unveiling the unseen power within.” Luckily for him, he had readily accepted the adjustment in her disposition and physical appearance. It looked as though she wanted to combat him now. “Ha-ha! This skirmish will be exciting!” He said with a widespread grin, his own canines revealed themselves. He was confident he could take her, or at the very least squarely match her. There was an imbalance in her soul, and Genma perceived that. She reached for her scythe, at that moment, Genma bounced back, and drew his own weapon, a Bo called Nyoikinkōbō. Before engaging in a battle with her, he had to ask. “Does your scythe have a name, Shinigami?”

The boy wanted a fight. She would give him a fight. She pulled the scythe off her back. It changed from it's normal look. It was no longer normal. The pole of it looked more deformed, more evil, more demonic. There was a spike on the butt of it. On the opposite end of the scythe's blade was a large spike that mirrored the shape of the blade. She held it in one hand. How easy it was for her to handle such a weapon. "Yes, love, it does. If you beat me I'll let you know." Her grin wouldn't die down. She would fight this boy. She would injure him, but no more. Maybe he could be a pawn.

The scythe also looked altered, it changed form, became more effective at killing. Bloodlust was the first word that came to mind. This only got Genma’s blood flowing. “I’m overjoyed by all of this!!” He roared to the skies above, letting the other Gods know that he’d be coming for them next. In an instant, he smacked one end of the Bo behind him, against the solidity of the oak tree. It snapped, and fell a part, right over his position and Kasi’s. It was too slow to smash him, he modestly tossed away from it, but, he needed to see just how fast the Shinigami was. It was university property, but he didn’t care.

The boy's staff hit the tree. It fell over. Huh. This boy had quite some strength in him. She lifted her weapon and in but a couple swings, the falling tree was laying in pieces around her. She kicked a couple lumps of wood out of the way and walked slowly towards the boy. "Is that all you have, love? You could do better. Please, come here. Let us dance." She couldn't wait. She was so excited to fight anybody. And this time the opposing party was consenting. How lovely. How absolutely magnificent.

Rapidity wasn’t the Shinigami’s forte, it was her precision. Genma found it hard to believe that the shameful, diffident young schoolgirl could become such a war-ravaging death-god. Fortunately, accuracy was also one of Genma’s strengths. She desired more, she wasn’t impressed. So far, the Shinigami was waiting for Genma to attack first, it was how she fought. He was disappointed that she wasn’t as ecstatic as he was. He shrugged it off. “Here I come!” He began dashing toward her, skipping side to side while gradually looming ever nearer to her. At the very same time, he heaved his Bo at her as if it were a boomerang. That was a lot of mass, with added velocity. It could crush anything in its path.

The boy tossed his weapon at her. She ducked under it. He was able to take a tree down with a swing, she wouldn't want to get touched by any of his attacks. She stood back up. The pole hit the ground and tore through a bit of the grass. It was heavy, it seemed. She continued her slow walk towards him, mocking him. "Honey, you must have better than that. How can you become a god if you can't beat a simple little girl like me?" She wanted to make him upset. It would get him down. Make him easier to manipulate. She would have her fun.

Genma’s weapon was dense enough that only a decent surprise attack would work on the Shinigami, unless the two clashed. Then it’d be easier to land a hit, but, Genma wasn’t yet done having his fun; and neither was Kasi, since she was acting very spiritedly. “I’ve only just started!” Sneering, he skidded in between her legs, more speedily than she would’ve expected, and unexpectedly his staff rebounded, jolting in her direction from behind. With a bit of luck, he’d catch her by surprise. Genma turned around, looking in the direction of Kasi’s back. The staff had already been ways ahead of him. He was nearly certain it’d land a hit.

The boy slid under her legs. He was a quick little guy. She turned as soon as he was out of sight. His weapon was flying towards her. She brought up her weapon to block it. It was going to impale her through the midsection. That would be a bit dangerous. She swung her weapon in time so the head of it would block the staff's attack. The staff completely stopped in place and dropped to the ground. It landed on her shoe, tearing through one of her toes. Blood started to pour from her foot, her grey sneaker turning red. She tried to kick the weapon off, but it wouldn't move. It was a bit heavy. She pulled back and tore the shoe off her foot, revealing her foot left with only four little appendages. She still grinned. "Aww, you got me!" She decided now would be a good time to actually fight. He was quick with that weapon of his. It was dangerous. She ran at him, her weapon ready to strike. Her grin wouldn't leave.

Remarkably, Kasi was able to just barely parry Genma’s attack. However, he noticed blood on her foot. Though there was blood, she persisted as ready as ever to remain fighting. He grinned.“…I thought you were going to give up already. I would’ve been disappointed.” She came charging at him. Now she craved to kill, he could see it in her eyes. She wanted to nourish her blade. “YAAAHHHOOOOOOOO!!” He bawled louder than ever; pure exhilaration. Genma commanded his staff to come to him, and he snatched it steadfastly with his right hand, charging at Kasi. Genma’s blunt Bo clashed with Kasi’s piercing scythe. Their weapons were locked firmly, and Genma looked into her eyes with the broadest grin, showing all his teeth along with his canines, trying to overpower her. “The Venerable, All-Powerful, Monkey-God of the Heavens. I like that!” He commented happily.

Rayne was returning to the school to pick up some paperwork he needed. Whistling casually as he heard a commotion around the corner of the building. His curiosity was piqued as he walked around the corner to see some runt fighting his Kasi. She looked to be holding her own until he saw her foot covered in blood. He grabbed his already transformed Pantera Claws and threw the right one right at Genma, they (Claws) being attached to a thick looking chain.

The boy clashed weapons with her. He couldn't push back against her weapon, it was physically impossible. Yet, she couldn't push against his, it was way too heavy. They were at a bit of a standstill. She saw some blades on chains in her peripheral. She'd seen them ever-so-rarely, but she knew whose they were. This was her change to overpower the situation. The boy would be trying so hard to push against her immovable object, he wouldn't be able to notice the Pantera claws, and her fist. She decided to hold the weapon with one hand and jab out a quick fist, which shifted to claws ever so swiftly. She was sure to land a blow somewhere in his abdomen.

Genma was truly enjoying this match. Kasi’s reason for fighting was unclear; it operated in contrast to Genma’s own motivation. Was it just for the kill? Or did she really have something to attain? When their weapons met, he could feel her intentions more than ever before. Were Shinigami malicious deities? He always looked at deities as in-between, but this girl, Kasi, was wholly wicked. Maybe she was a Demon of some kind. It would make some sense. These contemplations imbedded a little reservation in his mind, and the instant he felt a clawed weapon coming his way, he knew he’d have to back off. Why wasn’t he as thrilled anymore? Genma immediately commanded his staff to plunge into the ground between them, forcing Kasi to keep her distance and give him just the right amount of time to spring away from her. His calculations were a little off, and she ended up penetrating the surface of his skin. Which was remarkable, because he did have improved durability. Blood trickled from his abdominal region. Fortunately, he dodged the chained pantera claw. The staff copied itself, and Genma ordered one of the other copies to receive his right hand’s grip. “Who are you?” He asked the man. He had red hair, and looked sterner than ever. What exactly was going on? “Another Shinigami? I didn’t know you all were so desperate to kill me.” He added.

Rayne changed his footing as he saw the staff multiply. He chuckled a little, "I'm not a demon, and who I am doesn't matter." He undid his tie and pulled his grey jacket off. He then rolled his sleeves up, as the claws dangled from the chains that seemed to go into his back. He stepped back a little to give him some room to react, "So, why're you attacking Kasi?" He had this sneer on his face as he switched to an offensive type stance. His feet closer together, and he was also standing on the front of said feet.

Heh. This boy was a dimwit. He thought gods truly existed. His weapon multiplied. That was something she couldn't do. He had one in his hand, one in the floor. Hold on... one of them flew into his hand. On it's own. So he could control their movements, too. She nodded. She got it. She kept her weapon held against the staff. That boy was here, too. The one that almost stabbed her last time. "Yeah, why are you attacking poor little me. I'm so innocent, so defenseless... ohh..." She toyed with the monkey. Her grin wouldn't let up. She was fertilizing the grass with her blood. It was a beautiful crimson pool on the ground. Maybe she should terrify the monkey a bit. She focused a little more. She didn't want to go too far and give up this pretty face. All the blood that was pouring from her turned black. Her foot was drenched in the viscous, black liquid. She couldn't really attack him as it was. She had to keep her weapon locked with the stationary one, or it may get dangerous. If only he got closer.

It seemed that though the man didn’t claim to be a Death God or a Demon, he still chose to aid Kasi. It didn’t make a lot of sense to Genma. And, regrettably he began recognizing that she wasn’t a divinity. He was losing his fervor, fairly lacking in motivation. Especially since the fight wasn’t a personal one anymore, someone else from out of the blue decided to interfere. He asked why Genma was fighting her. Genma grinned, showing his canines. “Heh. Why not? I relish in fighting! But I don’t enjoy when someone has to ruin it… And if you knew this ‘girl’ then you’d know she also wants to duel me, so can’t you just leave us to it?” He asked the man. Who was this guy? He looked like he could be an educator, maybe a senior. He was pretty towering. He decided to leap on top of his staff, and extended it to about fifteen feet high. He wasn’t going to do any fighting until the battlefield was a little less murky. All the while, he was concentrating on Kasi, who was still bound to the parent-staff.

Rayne eyed the staff Genma was now standing on. His claws could still easily hit Genma, but, he decided to step back and sit cross legged on the ground as he watched the two. Rayne noticed the battlefield had a few drag marks made by something. Most likely the staff, either this boy was careless with his weapon, or it was a bit too heavy for him. And by indication of the drag marks it -was- heavy. Then his eyes shifted to what was left of the tree, the amount of brute force to make a tree explode from an exact point like that would take something with a bit of weight. Not something Kasi could do with her scythe. He grinned as he sat there, slowly piecing together the strengths of the staff and trying to pick out any weaknesses.

The boy was hiding in back, sitting atop his little staff. He requested to keep it to a duel. The man took a step back and sat down. Pfeh. Honor. It looked like the battle was at a stalemate. She needed a little something extra. She had an idea. She focused a little more. A single, leathery wing sprouted from her back. She flung her wing as hard as she could against the staff she kept locked in place. There was a large, gaping hole in her wing, dripping with the thick, black liquid. She whipped her wing in the direction of the boy, spraying the liquid towards him. Her 'blood' was a bit acidic. It would burn quite a bit if it hit any open wounds, and would probably blind him if it hit his eyes. This was her best bet.

The man who disturbed their scuffle now sat unobtrusively, studying their actions; chiefly Genma’s. He was clever, but if anyone knew Genma they’d know he can be vastly unpredictable; but right now, he was a little deficient in spirit, since Kasi wasn’t what he originally thought she was. This was a disappointment for him. His staff was doing a good job keeping Kasi at bay, if she jumped back, the staff would merely follow her, and all she could really do was keep her weapon locked, unless Genma were to be sidetracked. Apparently Kasi was craftier than Genma had thought she was, she injured her own wing after unveiling it, which mystified Genma at first, then she sprayed some of the blood she drew toward him. “Uh-oh it’s liquid. Not the easiest thing to avoid.” He murmured to himself. He knew he couldn’t dodge it, and it was making its way toward him, instead he lengthened his staff to five more feet. Now he was twenty feet high, and the acidic blood tarnished the copy he was on. He was not expecting this. He would counterattack; however, that man was inspecting him carefully. Genma would be in a lot of trouble if he was to frontally assault her, but he was tempted. Never had he felt the need to restrain himself, but, he never brawled more than one worthy opponent before, and the man certainly had some tricks of his own. He wasn’t the type not to. He wasn’t a straightforward fighter. “I’m getting bored of this, you know. Who is your opponent, redhead?” This guy wasn’t a random fighter, so why on Earth would he care to jump in? Genma began picking his hear, waiting for an answer.

Rayne sat there with his fingers together in his lap as he watched. It seemed the staff didn't have a limit, but he couldn't be quite sure. His eyes shifted from one to the other and then back to the staves. He grinned as Kasi attempted to spray Genma with her blood. It was smart, but Genma's stave seemed to be faster. With this Rayne stood up and dissapeared into the closest building, and he sprinted up the steps, for all they know he just left though.

The monkey boy just barely avoided the black liquid. It still hit the staff. He was so high up now, though. She glanced at the staff beside her. She started to rub her wing against it. She was hoping it would degrade like a normal weapon would. Probably wouldn't. It was too special. Still, it was now slippery and covered in a dangerous liquid that didn't come off easily. The boy wouldn't be able to hold it until it was washed off. The boy couldn't do much where he was. She looked to where the man was. He was gone. Odd. She looked back to the boy. She let the blood pool in her wing and continued swinging, trying to get the boy. He couldn't dodge forever.

Now Genma was in trouble. Kasi had coated his noble Bo in her blood; the parent-weapon. Had he been mindful of this ability of hers, he wouldn’t have kept his chief staff with her. There was no time to regret, he’d learn from this… But it wouldn’t matter lest he persisted another day. He never exhibited any weakness; no unease on his face. He didn’t need physical contact with his staff… But he never used it lengthily without physical contact either. She kept spewing more and more blood in his direction; he’d never seen his staff go beyond twenty-four feet, he hadn’t used it for a while. It was due to his inexperience, unfortunately; no, he wouldn’t expose the staff’s current limit. Instead he clenched onto two of his juggling balls with each foot, and began descending along the side of the staff, the balls melted away, but his feet were safe, it was then that he recognized some of her blood got on his upper-arm, it blackened on his flesh. He leaped backward off of the staff, all the while, he plummeted the 20ft long copy headlong, over her position. Assuredly, if she avoided the copy, she would more likely take a hit from the main weapon, which was still forcefully locked onto her. Wait… She wasn’t a Shinigami, wouldn’t this move kill her…? Should he avert it? All Genma knew for sure was he could no longer wield the parent-weapon, and all his copies would be the same way. He trusted that black-crud washed off easy… Though, he knew it wouldn’t serve as a problem in the long-term since his Bo wasn’t exactly an ordinary one.

Rayne finally reached the landing of the top floor. As he went to go open the door he realised it was locked. He attempted to shoulder it open, but it didn't budge. He stepped back to the railing and rushed forward as he kicked right at the lock breaking open the door. He untucked his shirt, unbuttoned it, took it off, and laid it over the railing in the stairwell. He walked to the edge of the roof and looked down into the courtyard at the two.Rayne smirked a little as he stood there for a little while wondering when he should make his move.
