Mark moved his look around, he knew what he was looking for and he believes that he just made contact with the thing he was searcing. "Well.. I think I know what you are looking for.." He said while moving his look back at the path were he came from, Mark got a cold feeling when he looked back. A classic, like a horror movie but slightly more real, ofcourse it was real, the ambient did change like in a movie. God, Mark should stop thinking about a horror movie, it always ends bad..

Alfred, still kneeling, looked towards Mark who was looking down a path. "Really?" He stood, taking a few steps towards the path. He bit his bottom lip, determining whether or not this was worth taking off his glasses for. He drummed his fingers on his thighs, desperately tired but not willing to let this chance go.

Mark turned around his whole body facing the road he came from a few minutes ago, it was time to face the music, but he did know about what a vampire was capable of doing, this is why he hated these bloodsuckers a lot. But then again this wouldn't be the first time he faced a vampire, now he wasn't going alone, that's what scared him a bit. What if Alfred got hurt because of him or something worse happens? Well.. It wasn't up to him now, it was Al's call now..

Taking a few more steps towards the path, Alfred crouched, slipping off his glasses and scanning the area. Nothing was in his range of sight, yet. He kept looking, feeling the strain in his eyes as they begin to change; threatening to make him completely blind. He sighed, closing his eyes and standing up, placing his glasses on his face. When he opened his eyes, everything was slightly more blurry. Whatever it was, it was good at hiding.

Mark looked at Alfred's movements, his ability layed in his eyes. No wonder he knew where to sleep tonight, his eyes can see more than any normal human. But he saw Alfred's reaction, it was a sigh, mostly meaning that he couldn't locate the creature that was stalking Mark a few minutes ago. Mark then started walking down the path. "If it won't come to us, then we will come to it.." He added as he moved his look around, trying to use his hearing a bit more sharper. For now he couldn't locate the creature.. But sooner or later he will.

Alfred followed Mark down the path, wondering whether or not heading straight to the monster was a good idea. It could very well be a trap. He kept quiet, still bothered by the slight blur in his eyesight, nevertheless kept scanning the area in case he notices some movement somewhere.

Mark continued to walk as he moved his look around, he could hear numerous animals walking near the area.. Cats, dogs, birds.. But he could also hear something in the area around them.. This was strange, he felt the same feeling when he was being watched. But this time he couldn't locate where the damn creature was hiding, he stopped in his tracks moving his look around. This was odd..

Alfred kept walking until he realized Mark wasn't beside him anymore. He turned around and saw that he was a few steps ahead of him. "What is it?" He said, eyes sweeping across the area, I'm not going to use my eyes again, I don't want my eyes any worse. He didn't sense anything, but then again, his senses weren't the best.

Mark closed his eyes concentrating his mind, this was a really strange thing. "I can hear "it"..." He was reffering to the creature, but the strange thing was he couldn't locate him, it was like... The creature was moving in constant motion. "Keep your guard up!" Mark said opening his eyes, he then moved his look all around the area. This was interesting, he never did encounter a vampire that moves with the similar speed to Mark's... Even tho Alfred couldn't see or hear anything, Mark knew that the creature was too close, moving all around the are with flickering speed, barely noticable.

Alfred looked around, not hearing a thing. He stepped closer to Mark, continuing to look around. He relied on Mark's senses to tell him where it was. He tugged on his gloves, ready to guard an attack.

There was a moment of silence, the target stopped in it's tracks. It didn't have a heartbeat so Mark couldn't detect it, he then moved his look around, studying every tree, tombstone.. Trying to locate where the creature was hidding. At this moment the creature was waiting for the right moment to strike, Mark was aware of that so he primarily focused on protecting Alfred. He would be damned if he let the creature hurt him. Now all he had to do was wait for it to strike...

((Don't worry ^_^ No problem))

Alfred's senses were jumping, the lack of sleep making him imagine things, things like that sudden movement heading straight towards him, which he crouched quickly to avoid whatever it was. If it was just his imagination, then maybe he should have left when he had the chance, but if it wasn't, then, hope for the best. After whatever it was soared by, he stood up dusting off the dirt on his hands across his jeans, leaving behind light streaks.

Mark could hear Alfred's reaction but he didn't pay atention because it was a false alarm, as Alfred stood up he got some movement and it was heading for Al. At that point Mark moved as fast as he could with a slight help to his ability, hitting the creature right in the face as his face was next to Alfreds. It sent the creature back to the shadows, Mark's knuckles started to bleed on his right hand it was a really strong impact. "That was close..." He said as the creature moved around again, waiting for the perfect time to strike.

"Very . . ." Alfred said, looking at Mark's hand, "You, uh, going to be okay there dude?" he said sleepily, now really wishing that he headed home while he had the chance. At least then he would know that there was something around here that he could get later once he was well rested. Ah well, he thought shrugging, Maybe next time.

Mark just kept his guard up, closing his eyes searching for the creature again, this time he couldn't locate him. "Yeah.. Ill be okay.." It wasn't hard for him to notice that Al was sleepy which made him to be more protective towards him. This creature was fast but not as fast as Mark.. "You should better run Al, I'll cover you.." Mark added as the blood on his knuckles dripped on the ground. "I don't think that he can follow you out of here..." Mark added as he waited for his answer...

Hesitant Alfred thought for a brief moment, he could make a run for it, but what would happen to Mark? He couldn't just ditch him here when this was his battle, and he couldn't simply run from his battle either. Killing vampires was a part of the job, but he really couldn't concentrate. "Y..Yeah . . ." Al turned, and made a run for it.
