You guys say it like I didn't want to be here. For your information, I've been out of town for the past five days. But now that I'm here, the site is back in business!

Also, Vashy and I are the only admins, but Vashy went inactive (she'll probably be back now that there are people). And Teddy, you lost your moderatorship because you kept making new accounts and I couldn't keep up with them.

Huh, I didn't think I was talking like you didn't want to be here. Just saying that it would have been great if you WERE here while the site was mostly inactive. So where did you go? It seems like everyone's gone on a trip recently.

Well, I was at a robotics competition when this site jumped back to life. Before that, during most of the inactive period, I was either at robotics, in Israel, in San Francisco, at school, or asleep. Now that robotics season is over (my team won the best award at world champs) I have a lot more free time. I think it's about time the site came back to life, anyway. I was really starting to miss talking to you guys.

o_O You sure traveled a lot. How was Israel? I've never been there before. Anyway, great job on the robotics competition! I missed talking to everyone too, almost thought the site would stay dead this time around.

Israel was awesome. One of the coolest places I've been. I think the experience was a little different for me, being the only Jewish kid on the trip. I was able to read some of the Hebrew there and saw a ton of historical places I learned about when I was young.

Sounds great. I didn't know that you could read Hebrew, how did you learn it? It was probably quite hard, Hebrew just looks like a bunch of squiggles to me.

I can read the letters, but I can't translate it very well. I know maybe 20 words. I went to temple once to twice every week to practice Hebrew up until my Bat Mitzvah, when I read from the Torah. I studied for about five years, then just dropped it because I'm not good at languages. I can also read a bit of Spanish, but I'm not the best at it.

Well, you've got Hebrew and Spanish, that's one more language than I can read, though I suppose I'm more fluent with Mandarin than either of your two languages.

A B'nei mitzvah is a coming of age in Judaism. B'nei means children, Bat means daughter, Bar means son. When you turn 13 you read from the Torah (our holy book) and lead a whole service. Also, I can't translate Hebrew and I'm very slow with Spanish, so you've got me beat.
